Continuous Skyline Queries for Moving Objects in Road Networks

چکیده
Skyline queries in road networks have received much attention because of their wide applications in LBS. Due to the increasing demands for services, skyline queries for moving objects in road networks which involve not only static attributes, but also dynamic ones, become more important. This paper studies a problem of how to process the continuous skyline query for moving objects in road networks. We propose an event-based incremental processing algorithm on the strength of tracking dominant relationships between objects with the distances changing and finding the result changing points. Extensive experiments are conducted to evaluate the performance of our proposed algorithm.

Continuous Monitoring of Top- k Spatial Keyword Queries in Road Networks
Recently, spatial keyword queries (SKQ) have become a hot topic in database field. However, Most of the existing SKQ methods are limited in Euclidean space or assume that objects (and queries) are static. This paper addresses the issue of processing continuous top-k spatial keyword queries over moving objects (CMTkSK) in road networks. To efficiently index moving geo-textual objects in road net...
متن کاملWithin Skyline Query Processing in Dynamic Road Networks
The continuous within skyline query is an important type of location-based query, which can provide useful skyline object information for the user. Previous studies on processing the continuous within skyline query focus exclusively on a static road network, where the object attributes and the conditions of roads remain unchanged. However, in real-world applications, object attributes and road ...

The Wireless GIS technology is progressing rapidly in the area of mobile communications. Location-based spatial queries are becoming an integral part of many new mobile applications. The Skyline queries are latest apps under Location-based services. In this paper we introduce Goal Directed Relative Skyline queries on Time dependent (GD-RST) road networks. The algorithm uses travel time as a met...
متن کاملEffective Density Queries for Moving Objects in Road Networks
Recent research has focused on density queries for moving objects in highly dynamic scenarios. An area is dense if the number of moving objects it contains is above some threshold. Monitoring dense areas has applications in traffic control systems, bandwidth management, collision probability evaluation, etc. All existing methods, however, assume the objects moving in the Euclidean space. In thi...
متن کاملProbabilistic Skyline Queries over Uncertain Moving Objects
Data uncertainty inherently exists in a large number of applications due to factors such as limitations of measuring equipments, update delay, and network bandwidth. Recently, modeling and querying uncertain data have attracted considerable attention from the database community. However, how to perform advanced analysis on uncertain data remains an interesting question. In this paper, we focus ...
